Method: Our Process
Discovery & Information Architecture
During this phase we will meet with you and gather all the requirements for the new site and develop a site outline with wireframes and use cases. The main purpose of the wireframes is to focus on the placement of content throughout the site while optimizing usability. This is done in the absence of the design so that the focus is on content organization and navigation.
Design
Based on the information gathered in the previous step, we will develop multiple design concepts for your review. From the feedback received during the review process, we will refine the design until it is perfected per client requirements.
Develop
We design the database and from there develop the back-end administration tools and the front-end templates for the site.
Test
We have a two-phased approach to testing. The first phase is alpha testing which is performed internally by us to make sure all of the functions are working; checking links, checking for broken images, etc. The second phase is done by you to ensure that the site looks correct and that content is working as intended. After you perform your review of the site and provide feedback to us we will update the site and send back for review. Once the final review and revisions are made, the site will be ready to launch.
Launch
The site is made live to the public. We add analytics to all pages of the site and perform final search engine optimization functions so that your site will begin to show up in search results on Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.
Analyze
This phase happens a few months after launch. We analyze your search engine placement, content searchability, link density, and the analytics of your site. We then suggest ways that you can update the content of the site to increase your visibility on the web.
